ASRY’s Chief Executive Officer, Dr Ahmed AlAbri, joined the third Middle East Sustainability Forum on Tuesday, hosted at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, contributing his thoughts during one of the day’s panel discussions.

The session, titled Unpacking the Megatrends: Tech-Driven Innovations Transforming the Sustainability Landscape, brought together senior leaders and decision-makers from across the region. Among the speakers were Dr Chawki Tawbi, Google’s Head of Data and AI, Bruce Niven, Aramco Ventures’ Head of Strategic Venturing, and Caius Camargo, Hydrocavit Brazil’s Founding CEO. The conversation revolved around how technology and digital advancements are being applied to speed up progress towards sustainable development goals.

Dr AlAbri spoke about the role of large industrial firms in pushing sustainability efforts forward. He stressed the urgency of shifting to environmentally sound practices and outlined steps companies can take to meet green targets.
